As our new Research Engineer you will contribute with your knowledge and passion in our global R&D projects.

You will be based at our technical center in Trosa, which acts as an innovation hub for product and process solutions, and report to our Global Media Development Manager. You will work in close collaboration with Global Product Managers, Global Sourcing, Product Development and labs all over the world. We believe that you possess strong social skills as building a wide internal network is a key success factor.
Your challenge:
to lead research activities for fi lter media development projects.
to coordinate internal testing and evaluation of new materials in cross-functional teams.
to coordinate external tests and studies for media development with universities and research centers.
to follow research results from external parties and evaluate new technologies for Camfi l’s fi ltration applications.
to work with Group Media Development Manager on media strategy for Camfi l Group.
to identify new patentable ideas in collaboration with IP manager.
Your background:
MSc in Material Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Material chemistry, polymer chemistry and organic chemistry is valuable.
Experience of project management in a global setting.
Knowledge in analytical testing methods regarding fi lter materials.

and can work with people regardeless of gender and cultural background. You are fl uent in English and hopefully skilled in more languages as well.
